Casa Lucia is an old olive press converted with care into 7 cottages, each with its own distinctive character: some are open plan with sitting room downstairs and bedroom up on a mezzanine floor among the original crossbeams, kitchen/dining and bathroom; others have separate double-bedded room, living room with two single beds, kitchen/dining and bathroom; there are also two studios with twin beds, kitchenette and bathroom. All have plenty of outdoor space, garden area with dining table, chairs, loungers and umbrella. There is daily maid service except for Sundays and holidays; towels are changed every day, linen twice weekly.
Casa Lucia is a relaxed and friendly place in the middle of Corfu island. A group of old olive press buildings has been restored and converted into 7 self-catering cottages and surrounded by beautiful gardens of lawns, fruit trees, flowering shrubs and flower beds: in the middle is a lovely oval pool with pergolas shaded by vines and jasmine. Casa Lucia draws people from all walks of life, from all countries and all ages to its peace and gentleness in which you can relax and do your own thing: or try the T'ai Chi, yoga, alternative therapies and beauty treatments available on site. Children are safe and have plenty of green spaces to play in and make friends. Close attention is paid to maintenance and cleanliness: the management is unobtrusive but always ready with information and help. It is a family business: our aim has always been to respect the environment while helping people to have a truly relaxing holiday; hence no television (except on request or a communal one in the reception), no air conditioning (fans in every room), no telephone/internet in the cottages (but available in reception). That's how to get away from it all!
